Our Team

Our personnel consists of those who have obtained the following credentials - Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH), Certified Registered Safety Professionals (CRSPs), and Certification in Infection Control (CIC).

  • The Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists maintains the minimum standards for the CIH certification, and attaining this means that the person is an expert in air sampling, analytical chemistry, biohazards, engineering controls, instrumentation, ventilation, community exposure, noise, toxicology and epidemiology, health risk analysis, work environments, ergonomics, industrial processes, radiation (both ionizing as well as non-ionizing), thermal stress, and program management. So, Certified Industrial Hygienists are highly trained, qualified, and know exactly where to look.
  • The Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists, is also responsible for maintaining the standards for Registered Occupational Hygienists. At the very minimum, this entails having a bachelor's degree in engineering/sciences and multiple years of work experience in the field of Occupational Hygiene.
  • The Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals awards the Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (CSRPs) / Professionnel en Sécurité Agréé du Canada (PSAC) certification to those who have a minimum of five years of professional experience, of which three years must be full-time experience in the field of Occupational Safety and Health. Those who receive this certification must also clear a written examination and pass an interview with the Board. All these are in addition to having formal qualifications from an accredited university or college.
  • The Certification in Infection Control / Certification en Prèvention et en Contrôle des Infections is awarded by the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology and requires all those holding this certification to stay current and updated – the certificate awarded is valid for only three years, and holders must get themselves re-certified after this period.

At SafetyON, we have more than 20 years of experience in the field of Occupational Health and Safety and our consultants are qualified and experienced.
